One of our flagship initiatives is the e-TAL System (Electronic Transaction and Audit Ledger System), a groundbreaking platform that integrates finance, technology, and accountability. This project represents our strategic collaboration with the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) and the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA). Through this partnership, we are working closely with ICPAK to transform the way financial analysis and auditing are conducted in Kenya. Traditionally, companies—particularly small and medium enterprises—have faced high costs in meeting their compliance and auditing requirements, with fees rising to as much as 10% of annual income. Such expenses not only limit growth but also discourage many businesses from adopting proper financial reporting systems. The e-TAL System changes this landscape by reducing the cost of financial analysis to just 0.25% of an organization’s income, making it one of the most affordable and efficient solutions in the market. ICPAK plays a crucial role in this journey by ensuring that the system aligns with professional standards, supports accountants and auditors in delivering high-quality services, and promotes financial transparency across the country.

Our collaboration with ICPAK also extends to creating awareness among its members and encouraging adoption of e-TAL in the organizations they serve. By equipping accountants with this innovative tool, we empower them to provide more value to their clients, strengthen trust in financial reporting, and foster a culture of accountability. At the national level, our work with ICPAK and KRA is designed to ensure that e-TAL becomes an integral part of compliance, simplifying reporting for businesses while supporting regulators in monitoring financial health and tax obligations. The potential impact is enormous, with the ability to serve over two million companies in Kenya, contributing to improved governance, reduced fraud, and stronger economic growth. This project is more than a technological solution; it is a statement of our belief that sustainability in business starts with transparency, accountability, and affordability. Together with ICPAK, Troycity Africa is not only reshaping financial reporting but also building the foundation for a more resilient and inclusive economic future.
